General Information about our project

The Project IDEAS aim is to help students learn about Design Thinking, see its value, and have the confidence to bring it to their lives. Design Thinking is a learning approach that focuses on developing students’ creative confidence. Teachers and students work together in hands-on design challenges that focus on building their skills through Design Thinking Process which has Empathise, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test stages. Teaching young students Design Thinking helps them develop a growth mindset and important problem solving, analytical and spatial thinking skills and encourage students to engage in a variety of subject areas and develop their own designs. Design process enables pupils to learn how to collaborate in teams. They learn to think and act as artists, makers and designers, working creatively.
